Not all Project CARS news yesterday was April Fools related, with the official website being launched at projectcarsgame.com. Since the creation of Project CARS in 2011, World of Mass Development (WMD) portal has been home base for all things Project CARS related. Now with Project CARS aiming for a November 2014 release the official site has launched and hopefully will provide more insight into the game for those who are not a WMD member.
As can be expected, the website isn’t too heavy with information at the moment but that will surely change in the run up to release. The front page does feature a poll asking which platform the game should launch on when it’s you’re planning on getting Project CARS for when it is released in November. Being a good sim racing fan, I voted for Windows and am flabbergasted that Wii U is currently leading the poll. Lets be good sim racers and change that please. Project CARS will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows, Wii U and Steam OS.
The developers also posted this nice video from WMD member JonZ showing off the sounds in Project CARS. Hopefully more videos like this one will be showing up on the site for our enjoyment in the future.

If you read a bit closer, you’ll notice that the poll is actually about what platform you’re going to get pCARS on, not “which platform the game should launch on when it’s released”. =)
Great to see so many WiiU users get active in demanding a properly serious racing sim on their platform, kudos to them. =)
I was quite surprised to see that much interest in the Wii U version.
Reading is hard sometimes. Good catch, updated.
