Slightly Mad Studios (SMS) have been slowly leaking out images of their next car pack for Project CARS on the title’s Instagram page. The images – and hashtags – point to a “new vs old” theme, with modern BMW’s, Ford’s and Porsche RUF’s paired up with their historical counterparts.
The cars teased so far are the BMW 2002 Turbo, BMW 320TC WTCC, 2015 Ford Mustang GT, 1966 Ford Mustang, RUF CTR Yellowbird and 2012 RUF Rt-12 R. Excuse my language but these cars look pretty “bitchin.”
No word on release date other than the dreaded kiss of death, “soon.”
Actually John, that’s the 2012 RUF Rt-12 R. The RGT-8 has been in pCARS since launch.

There’s going to be some great races with that BMW 320TC WTCC car! Hopefully we’ll see the Chevrolet and Seat WTCC cars in the game from that period too. Back to the glory days of the WTCC race games by Simbin. Loads of fun, even today.

Waiting patiently for 15′ Mustang GT in pCARS forever it seems. Aching to compare it to the real thing. 😀 Total blast to drive IRL.

Liking the older car content…it’s a pity they do not add more older content like 69 Camaro, 71 Challenger etc …suppose the game demographic is mostly the younger crowd.
