Pros & Cons

Cons:

Need a seat that is pretty low + but.. If you extended it much further, it could affect the stability
A little more expensive in the US / Pricey in general

Pros:

Very stable
Compatible with all of the major wheels on the market
Hardware included to mount your wheel, pedals and shifter. Also comes with velcro ties to route your cables
Adaptable to a full rig
Fair pricing considering how stable it is. Sure there’s cheaper stands on the market, but none are as stable as this
No center post
Comes with shifter mount
Available worldwide
Can fold down to store upright or slide under a bed.
Adjustable for short or tall people

Revs Scale: 5 of 5

Final thoughts

Besides needing a chair that is low, this stand is probably the best we’ve ever tried. It does come at a higher price than some that we’ve tried, but you get what you pay for. Stability is worth the higher price tag. Comes with everything you need to hard mount your wheel, pedals and shifter so you can unpack and start racing.

In closing, this wheel stand is more stable that some of the full rigs we’ve tried. Really anxious to try it with the seat attachment.

  1. I’ve got the full GTUltimate V2 rig. It’s pretty darn good. The wheel stand is the best piece in that set by far and I’ve been rocking it since 2011, when I used a L desk and an office chair with it. My only complaint / suggestion was that they supply a mechanism for locking an office chair in place. I made my own 🙂

I’ll leave my comments on the seat off until you do a review…

    1. Right on Rob, hey just curious how do you like the monitor mount? Being it’s direct mounted do you experience much harmonic vibration and bouncing on your monitor? Oh and if your not using that chair for much else why not pull the wheels off it as well still keeping your cool holder the angles on that looks to fit right back in while dropping you another 2in down with a little lean worked right in. It’s such a sweet stand with so much potential.

      1. Hi Jason. If it happens it’s not noticeable. I’ve got a buttkicker under the seat (pic above was pre GTUltimate V2 seat) and I do find that the buttkicker shakes the desktop something fierce sometimes but not the monitors. I couldn’t get one of my monitors to perfectly align but otherwise it’s great. I’ve got the V1 stand, so I’m not sure if the V2 stand is different, but I couldn’t either Clubsport Pedals to the base at all four points (pedal set is too wide). Bolting down just one side is secure enough though and I don’t notice any movement in game, and the pedals are attached in a good enough position.

    1. Got this thing set up now. Freaking awesome. Ok so I had to drill four holes to hardmount my ClubSports. Yeah and wow! The Clubsport vibration motor on the break pedal is amplified on this rig through the foot plate and!! the gear shifter vibrates. Simgasm! [If there is such a thing] I guess you guys didn’t have the Fanatec shifter adapter, and that is extra. However it frees up the shifter plate as a beer can holder! [Triple thumbs Up]. The transmission of the vibration is such a bonus. To feel it in the shifter is added realism. Gotta agree its rock solid. The guys in the UK sales office at Next Level emailed me to say it wouldn’t invalidate my warranty drilling the footplate. My Fanatec 911 and clubsports have never felt better, this is truely the next level. Thanks so much fir putting out a positive review. What it does for my Fanatec set up I give it 6/5. [If that’s possible] so Hi Five guys! Awesome!!!

  2. Thanks for the stand review, Jason and DArin!

I need a wheel/pedal stand and this one looks to be brilliant for the cost.
I’m not sure how to interpret the features line, “the pedal plate is also fully adjustable where you can move them forward or back.” Can the pedal plate incline level also be changed to make the pedals lay more flat?

    Thanks in advance!
    : )

  3. Hi all.sorry for my poor english but, trying to get extra infos about this great stand (that could keep me safe from my wife):
how tall is when in use at minimum (tryin to keep it not folded under the desk wich is 28inch tall), and wich height of the seat to be confortable witch this stand?
    Thank you in advance.
    Bye bye

  4. Hey guys they have a new site for canada and US its pagnianamericas.com Great customer service and they will get back to your questions promptly.

  5. Stand looks good. How low was that folding chair used in the review video? I’m 6′-4″ and am hoping this will work in the limited space I have for this in my gaming room. Thanks for the thorough review as always.
