rFactor 2: Mystery Track Previews

ISI’s track development team has released a couple new previews, of a rather mysterious kind. They have released three shots of an in-development track, but they refuse to say the name of the circuit. The one hint they have given us about the mystery track is that it is a highly requested course. Maybe one of you guys can figure it out?

The track definitely has a nice, “aged” feel to it, which could mean it’s a track with some history to it. The first preview shot also appears to show multiple configurations, if not also a karting circuit. I’d say the curbs may also be one of the identifying factors to help figure out the track.

In addition to the previews, the team has also given us a hint on a future plan for converting rFactor tracks to rF2. They are looking to try to get the circuits ported at a high quality, but that is effectively at a “back burner” status, compared to new content. Fan favorites Essington and Toban are planned to be upgraded, but it likely won’t come this year, and possibly not even next year.

Which rFactor 1 circuit would you like to see in rFactor 2? Let us know in the comments!
