ISI has released a very nice trailer announcing rFactor 2’s (rF2) intention to join the Steam service. This announcement has been nearly a year in the making, with ISI making rFactor available on Steam late last year as a trial run for rF2.
The announcement does not give a firm date but it sounds like it’s close enough to give it the sim racing “soon” label.
What I really like about this trailer is that it highlights rF2’s big selling points, the physics. Showing the tire flex, Real Road and tire damage is exactly what will sell rF2 to those not familiar with it. It also doesn’t hurt to toss in footage of the soon to be release stock cars.
Speaking of the stock cars, ISI also stated that we’ll be able to race them this weekend. Time to grab your undershirt, Levi’s, Earnhardt cap, and get ready to turn left!

StockCar coming this weekend finally!
That’s very good news. Hopefully it’ll get noticed a bit more.
