ISI’s track team sure has been busy! They have released a couple new previews of what is likely the next track to make it to rFactor 2. The “Mountain Peak Speedway” is based off of Charlotte Motor Speedway, and is looking to be released alongside the Stock Car content. The circuit looks to have the 1.5 mile quad-oval, a 1/5th mile oval just outside of the backstretch and, if it correlates to the real life circuit, an infield road course.
There is no confirmation as to if Mountain Peak is the course in the “mystery previews”, but my guess would learn towards no. The mystery project looks to be a side project, and utilizes different lighting arrangements.
In addition to the new track previews, Tim Wheatley has released the template for the stock cars, which should indicate that the car is coming soon! The car appears to be based off of the Chevrolet SS stock car, but will be released under the Howston name. We will be sure to see some great designs as painters get to work on their designs.

I’m not a stock car fan per se (but I like the Brazilian stock cars in GSC2013) however, this track looks nice.
