Image Space Incorporated has announced the development of a new car for rFactor 2. The Howston Cup Car will be a stock car built to the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ regulations. In rFactor 1 there was a similar oval series, with multiple fictional manufacturers, so more cars could possibly come in the future.
ISI feels that rFactor 2 will set a new benchmark for oval racing simulations. However, help is being requested from the developers to create the most authentic stock car simulation possible. They are looking for people with experience in stock car racing (both drivers and team members) to help with the development process.
