It’s no secret that SimXperience has been working on a high-end racing wheel. However, we have only seen rare occurrences of it in the wild, one example was Darin testing out the wheel last year. However, we have had hints on what the final unit could look like, but now we may have an idea.
SimXperience traveled to Toronto for the IndyCar race, and they brought along a little surprise. They set up a booth, collaborating with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, giving donors the opportunity to test out the AccuForce wheel on rFactor 2, utilizing iDT Simulation’s version of the Toronto Street Circuit. I don’t know about you, but I’d gladly pay $2 to give that piece of hardware a spin! Even Andretti Autosport driver James Hinchcliffe, who has worked with SiimXperience in the past, showed up to test it out.
There were two rims on display at the event, and Pat Dotson gave a little input as to why, via the iRacing forums:
“The standard Accuforce steering wheel comes with the button box containing 12 buttons, and carbon fiber paddle shifters. Tentatively, the standard steering wheel will be like the one with red stitching. A MOMO upgrade option is planned.”
Another change since the last time we saw the unit is a new aluminum enclosure for the wheel base. I have no qualms about calling this unit a piece of sim racing art! It definitely looks like a unit that has a professional design, with a lot of effort into it. It’s also worth noting that the wheel has working buttons, but no external wires, so it appears that they’ve come up with a system to get that working.
The AccuForce is expected to be released later this year, with a price tag of under $2,000. SimXperience’s goal is to provide a high-end racing wheel, at a fraction of the price. It definitely looks like they’re on the right track!
Are you looking forward to getting an AccuForce on your rig? Let us know in the comments!

hinch! that would of been so cool!
Is this wheel compatible with the new games coming out? If my G27 is not compatible I doubt this would be very useful.
This wheel is compatible with every PC title on the market. It’s PC only
Well I guess that is where it is headed. A wheel for each platform. Sad.
No one says you have to buy one for each platform. You also aren’t taking into consideration that your G27 is a 5 year old wheel. This wheel is built for the high end user and will retail more than $1500. Its going to be one of, if not the best wheel on the market.
so ready to get my hands on this thing!
Seems like the company folded ! – SAD !

No it’s not, why would you say that ?
Their website is gone !
Hope it’s not true though !
