Darin, in your opinion which shifter do you prefer, this one or the new one from Fanatec ?
i’m in a little dilemma now after seeing both reviews….lol
I like them both. If I could only have one it would have to be the TH8A due to it being compatible with the systems mentioned in this. Its also a lot more affordable and I prefer Thrustmaster products in general.

Lets you gate it long or short throw, in 4,5,6, 7 and 8 speed configurations. He is working on the web site, but he is still selling plates, just tell him what you want.
Does this mean that I’ll have to run USB to my PS4 in order to play Project Cars with manual configuration?
if u have the t300 no, u can plug the th8a shifter in the t300 but if u have another wheel i think that yes you have to plug it in the usb of your ps4

A product of quality… With a lot of adjustability… And there’s a guy who even sell shorter throws H plates (for those who want a short-throw-FiaGT Porsche shifting experience!).
It’ll be my next purchase – at least as soon as my old Fanatec shifters commit suicide! 😉
if i want to play forza 5 on xbox one whit this shifter. and i play in manual + clutch. have i buy a pedal set + clutch pedal
or is this automating clutch just like the steering pedals?
I have a g27 wheels and pedals.. I go the th8a to use on the ps3 console to play gt6 with a sequential shifter. I plugged it in to the usb port via the din/usb cable supplied with the shifter and it does not work. I checked to make sure that everything on the shifter was up to date with the latest driver and firmware and even downloaded the calibration software to make sure it was working. Still nothing. I even went as far as to delete the gt6 game utility form my ps3 and reinstalling it. Still nothing.. I have emailed thrustmaster support two time now and still have not herd anything back.. Has anyone ells had the same problem. I stumped.. PLEASE HELP!

HEY ALL I KNOW THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A STUPID QUESTION BUT, I TAKEN MY TH8A SHIFTER APART TO DO SOME MODIFICATION LIKE SHORT THROW AND THE MESH COVER WITH WIRE BROKE OFF FROM THAT LITTLE BOARD. THE SHIFTER ONLY WORKS IN H-PATTERN MODE! CAN I RE-SOLDER IT ON SO SEQUENTIAL MODE WILL WORK AGAIN?
