Next year we will see a new manufacturers battle between Gm and Ford in iRacing. The showdown will occur on road courses all over the world including the home of the V8 Supercars at Bathurst, Mt. Panorama. The Ford V8 Supercar already exists in iRacing but next year they will be adding the championship winning Red Bull Holden VF Commodore made by GM. Here is what iRacing had to say about this:
In mid-2014, iRacers around the globe will have a newly released digital car to add to their line-up: Jamie Whincup’s Championship-Winning, 635hp Red Bull Holden VF Commodore! With a partnership between GM Holden Ltd, Red Bull Racing Australia & Triple Eight Race Engineering – its release is expected to entice both new and veteran sim racers… With that much horse power, who wouldn’t?!

Haha, Maybe they can redo the Physics while thier at it to represent “The Car of The Future) so the car actually represents what is like in real life, it bloody well STOPS when you need it too, and it actually does TURN in with a lot of GRIP. Maybe, just maybe if they sort this one properly and then bring the exact same physics to the Falcon too (because it’s a homoligated common chassis these days (COTF)), then iRacing would no doubt see a massive groundswell of memberships coming from the land down under.
It’s gonna be confusing, the COTF at the COTA 😉
You wont come back phill 😛
Not likely Scotty
