The FIA Formula E have revealed the ”Vegas Strip Circuit” by releasing a video to their Youtube channel. In addition, free practice one has just been completed in Las Vegas! Speaking with Dom Duhan and Olli Pahkala from Team Redline after an exhausting day, fellow team member and sim racer, Bono Huis has taken top honours in free practice one, ahead of the highest placed Formula E driver, Felix Rosenqvist with sim racer, Graham Carrol managing the third fastest time.You can see the complete time sheet for free practice one here below.
It was a long day for all the drivers with free practice one concluding around 1am local time. Not much time for a rest though, as there is a 7am start for the guys for the next round on Saturday. As far as equipment is concerned, we can now announce that all the Playseat simulators have been fitted with Thrustmaster’s newest wheel, the TS-PC Racer and T3PA pedals! FIA Formula E Vegas Visa eRace Description:
On Saturday January 7th, the 20 Formula E drivers will take on 10 of the best sim racers on the planet for the Visa Vegas eRace, the richest race in the history of sim racing, for a share of $1 million dollars. The race where every driver is guaranteed at least $20,000 and the winner taking home $200,000. For the first time, we can reveal the circuit they will be racing on. The race will be broadcast live across the world at www.twitch.tv, and on the FIA Formula E website and app.
