It’s spring time again, which means it’s time for another iRacing Video Contest. This year, iRacing is awarding 1,000 iRacing credits to the winner. The contest is being hosted on iRacing’s Facebook page, so you will need a Facebook account to participate. They will be accepting submissions through April 14th, then iRacing staff will select their five favorites. The five finalist videos will be posted on their Facebook page and fans will vote for a winner from April 18th to May 5th.
Videos must be no longer than 90 seconds and contain only content that you have rights to. All iRacing footage is fair game but if you use custom paint schemes, you must have permission to do so. IRacing noted that they want the video to show off how great iRacing is, especially for people who aren’t members yet.
Here is Andrew MacPherson’s winning submission from 2012. Iracing has noted that cool videos like this have brought more people to the service and I’m sure this year’s winner will be no different.
