Goodbye to Shaun – http://insidesimracing.tv/forums/topic/11829-goodbye-to-shaun/

Oh man, first Jessica and now Sean?? The show had so much character with the three of them. I’ll still be watching though, Darin’s great.
You know what I think? I’m not trying to sound selfish or greedy, but I think you should do the shows by yourself Darin. I always enjoyed your videos and I think from a professional standpoint, hosts leaving and new hosts coming in is just a distraction.
I think your opinions and reviews are succinct and honest and that is probably half of what the viewers want. Yes, most likely the other half would want some eye candy with Jessica or another point of interest with Shaun, but for the half that wants the clear cut info, they are the loyal followers who are the true fanbase in the world of sim-racing.
Good luck Darin and 2014 will be a great year for games and technology!
Shaun is gone? That’s really sad news.
Shaun, I wish you all the best and hope you will be as successfull with your new ideas like you were (at least from my point of view) with ISR. For my part i will definitely miss your witty comments, your friendly attitude and of course the facts and figures you contributed…
Darin, hopefully you’ll manage to put out a decent amount of videos on your own and maybe team up with a new compagnion, soon. It’ll probably get tough sometimes, so the best wishes from me to you, too.
Keep it rollin folks…:)
I’ll still be watching as always, with or without Shaun. Although I know how much easier it is if you have someone helping, hopefully you find someone there in the area that can contribute. If I was near there I definitely would. What ever happened to the girl stig?
How do I tip the new bloggers? IE, I have some news, where do I send it?
I am sure you could email any tips to: info@insidesimracing.tv
Great show guys, been watching regularly for the last 3 years since looking for a review of Fanatec GT2 Wheel and found your show. I was hooked and got into pc sim racing, including iRacing and enjoyed the constructive reviews that were done on this site. Darin, i’m sure you’ll keep doing a great job and Shaun, good luck in your new courier Asim, (London, UK)
Shaun! NO!! How truly sad…. I really valued your input, and your cheer and accent always made me smile, so goddamn in a most sincere way. To Darin – while I’m at it, and at the risk of sounding gay -, I like you, man, I really do. Your intentions are sincere and you speak your mind. How will you fill that hole on your right side? I empathize with you for losing a long-time buddy. Above all, keep up the good work. It is highly appreciated, by many I presume.
ooh now I see why Darin bit my head off last week..
I have no problems with you, Darin and I appreciate all your hard work.’
As a long time sim racer(Vritua Racer on the Sega 32x nad Sportscar GT on the PC)I am thanklful that you and Shaun filled the online void for us Virtual Racers.
Shaun will be missed(perhaps guest hot sometime?)
But thx to you for carrying the torch for us all..
I took a break from sim racing and coverage of it since the fall, but with the start of live motorsports this year I’m getting back into sim racing and the community, of which ISR is my favorite. Even though I’m LTTP on Shaun’s leaving, I’ve extremely saddened by it after discovering it just today. I’ve been a fan of the show for 4yrs now. I even went back and watched all the early shows from before also. I wish Shaun the best of luck in his future. I see he still races on iRacing which is good. I’m glad that whatever happened between Darin and Shaun and with the show didn’t sour him on sim-racing itself. Shaun is a credit to the community.
I wish nothing but the best of luck to Darin. He and Shaun had a great on screen chemistry that will be sorely missed, but I hope Darin can find a path forward that works for the show and him. I also hope that one day Darin and Shaun can mend person fences even if not the professional ones. It sucks losing a friend. Again, very sad day for me as a long time fan of the show, but I wish Shaun the best of luck in his new path in life and Darin I wish you nothing but the best of luck in keeping ISR going and growing. It’s a credit to sim-racing reporting and the sim-racing community.
