A couple weeks ago, Sector3 Studios released a teaser video for DTM 1992, a new pack coming to RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E). Now Sector3 has released an extended video (nearly 9 mintues!) showing off the 1992 DTM cars fighting it out around the Nürburgring grand prix circuit.
Besides some really good looking racing action (seriously, R3E has stepped their game up), Sector3 decided to dress the video up to take us back to 1992. I don’t know if I would call it a success – picture still too nice (not complaining too much though) and there where no HDTV’s back then… – but its fun nonetheless.
The developers are still using the “coming soon” tag line but the word is DTM 1992 will be out before Christmas. If it is, it would cap off an extraordinarily productive end of the year for Sector3 with not only this but ADAC GT Masters 2014 being released in the final two weeks of 2014.

There were the flickers and scratches. Not bad. Love the AAC 2014 but still just diluting the number of players in each section of the game… Lot of fun, but pretty much solo only.
They released the cars and I did buy the Ford Mustang. It is a reasonable facsimile of the car. It is fun to drive all things considered.
