ISI has released a new build of rFactor 2, bringing the version number up to 590. This build includes a wide variety of stability updates and under-the-hood adjustments, to try to create a better experience in the sim. If early posts in their forum are any indicator, this could be a great update for the title.
Some of the most notable updates are to the title’s online multiplayer, to make it more stable, including upgrades to the online lobby. There are also updates to how rFactor 2 handles custom paint schemes on online servers. To see the full list of updates, you can check out the release notes at the bottom of the post.
So, if you guys are on the fence about rFactor 2, or have been away for a while, it may be a good time to give it another look. rFactor 2 is available for $43.99 for the standard edition (includes 1 year of online gameplay), or $84.99 for the lifetime edition. There is also a free demo available, where you can run the Chevrolet Corvette C6.R at Lime Rock Park. You can find out more information about rFactor 2 on their Official Site.
What do you guys think of rFactor 2? Do you feel they’re getting on the right track?
