Assetto Corsa has released new work-in-progress images of Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. It appears like the team at Kunos has made good progress on the track since the last set of images was released in March. Of course at 4.5 miles (7 km) long and in the middle of the Ardennes forest, there is plenty of track, structures and trees to model.
The images show off the uniqueness of the structures at Spa’s pitroad complex and some nice track texture on the approach to Eau Rouge. No time frame has been given for release but at the pace that the Kunos team works, I’m sure it will be here before we know it.
What do you guys think about Spa? This is the track that I’ve been waiting for, can’t wait.
Certainly one of my favorite tracks. I’m no good at it cause it takes, you know, talent but the track has it all. I’m interested to see how it compares to iRacing’s Spa since this will be the first track that both sims have (Silverstone not counting becuase iRacing has the old layout).
That’s a really good point, especially since they are both laser scanned, can’t wait to compare them both.
