Back in December, Kunos Simulazioni opened some polls on their official site, asking racers what makes they would like to see in Assetto Corsa. One of the most voted brands was RUF Automotive, so Kunos has licensed three RUF cars for the sim.
The first RUF announced to be in development for Assetto Corsa is the CTR, also known as the Yellowbird. The Yellowbird is based on the 1987 Porsche 911, but has been heavily modified and tuned (including the addition of massive twin-turbos) to produce 469 horsepower while only weighing 1,170 kg. It beat out cars such as the Ferrari F40 and Porsche 959 to take the title of fastest car in the world, with a top speed of 212 mph. Below is a video of the Yellowbird being wheeled around the Nurburgring, where it also held the record with a lap time of 8:05.

More information about this partnership will come in the near future, but if you want to speculate about which cars could be coming to the title, you may want to check out this poll. Which RUF is your favorite? Which cars would you like to see in Assetto Corsa?
