Boy, this week has been quite interesting for the Assetto Corsa community! We have a Japanese cult classic, a historic open wheeler, and something that is just weird!
CARS
To begin, we have the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R, being brought to Kunos’ title by Diablo_rf. A rough version of the model has been put in game, other parts of the car haven’t been able to be put in. Diablo_rf is looking to find some more help in bringing this iconic car to (virtual) life, so if anyone is interested, drop a post in the thread!
Next up, we have the return of Radiator Springs Racing’s Historic Car. This car was first teased in April last year, and is based off of the era of classic Formula One cars. This car looks amazing, and will likely mark one of the major mods for Assetto Corsa. No release date has been mentioned yet, make sure to pay attention to RSR!
Grab a hold of your seats, because this next car’s a doozy! We’ve already seen the Reliant Robin, but we now will have another infamous vehicle piloted by Jeremy Clarkson. The Clarkson P45 is actually coming to Assetto Corsa, albeit with less risk of smashing your face into the windshield. We’ll see if just the 100cc engine will be implemented, or if EpicPosterGuy will run wild with creativity. Only time will tell.
TRACKS
We have a few more great tracks for you! First up, we have Hellroadwuppertal. While the name is a mouthful, it is a rather unique circuit. HexorHardTechno used a Garmin GPS on the roof of his car, and traced a route around his town. A 0.5 beta has been released, so you can test it out now.
Pascalwb has released more previews of Zolder. While there is still quite a bit to go, it is looking good so far! The layout has been in place, but scenery will be put in place in the future. As of now, there won’t be any alpha releases, so don’t expect this track for a little while.

To close out our update, we have a cool fantasy circuit, built by Snoopy. The Golf Course features a fun layout through a golf course (sadly, you can’t race on the course and through the sand dunes). You can tell Snoopy’s experience from converting Nordschleife has transferred over, and this track definitely is of high quality. Version 0.6 has been released, including (partial) support for AI, as well as having 24 pit/start spots.
NOTABLE RELEASES

Madcowie has released version 1.0 of Castle Hill. For those who don’t know who Madcowie is, he has over a decade worth of track modelling under his belt. He has worked for companies such as SimRaceway and Apex Circuit Design. He is likely one of the few sim designers to have his designs made into reality.
You can tell his experience has been poured into Castle Hill, and is one of the most impressive custom circuits for Assetto Corsa! It is requested that to download the track through Madcowie’s official site, but the site is definitely worth checking out!
alless and SandroX have released Beta V2 of the Chevrolet Corvette C6R GTE. This release adds some fixes to make the car a little more realistic to the real life car. You can get your American Muscle fix flinging this car around!
There is far more content available in Assetto Corsa’s forums, so we encourage you to check them out yourself! Which car and track are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments.

great roundup again; i swear im on top of things but it seems some always slip by 🙂 much appreciated.
What about the pic with the Ford escort in, is that car available in AC yet.
