Live for Speed has quite a cult following behind it, and the latest patch added support for the Oculus Rift. GamerMuscle decided to take a look at how the Rift performs in the title, and has released a couple videos for us to enjoy.

To begin, he gives his first impressions on how the DK2 unit fares in the game, and judging from his reactions, it’s quite positive! He looks around in the LX4 (LFS’ version of a Caterham) and proceeds to drive around Blackwood. Next up, he enters an online race with the Formula BMW.

I find it very interesting how the HUD doesn’t move around with your view, which gives you a holodeck-esque perspective, which may help give you a grounding perspective.
