BasherBoards is known for making some great adapters to transcend manufacturer barriers to expand compatibility. Their latest product, the CPX adapter, looks to allow Fanatec pedal sets to be directly connected to the Thrustmaster TX or T500RS racing wheels.
The CPX adapter will allow for racers to save a valuable USB port, and still retain control of the load cell sensitivity and ABS functionality on the unit. The firmware in the adapter can also be updated via USB. Designs aren’t finalized, and more features could be coming as the product comes closer to release.
The CPX is set to be released in the coming weeks. Pricing has not been revealed yet. For more information, you can check out BasherBoards’ official site. You can also subscribe to their email notification list, to be the first to know when the adapter is available.
With a Thrustmaster wheel and Fanatec pedal set being a favorite combination in the community, I could see this being a great addition to whoever looks to be able to use their setup on consoles! What do you guys think?

and use at ps3?
William, I am wondering if this will affect how Windows “sees” the number of controllers connected? Many of the older titles have 3 controller limits and if this turns 2 into 1 it could be helpful to those trying to use a T500/CSP combo, shifter and button box. Just a thought. 🙂
I think that’s the point of it, to have the T500/TX see the CSP as the T500 pedals.
I have the T500/CSP combo as well, so I’d LOVE to be able to use my button box on older ISI titles 🙂
Put me done for one. love the idea.
