Digital Apex Modding Team is a group that makes cars and tracks for rFactor, including the Touring Car Legends Portugal add-on. Their latest project is the Vila do Conde Street Circuit, which was a Portuguese street circuit that hosted races from the 1960’s all the way up to 2003. They have made a lot of progress on the track, but are now looking to the community to help them with some of the workload.

With Vila do Conde being a street circuit, it requires a lot of buildings to be modeled to surround the track, which takes a lot of time and talent. Digital Apex is open to all kinds of support. Some ways you could help are:
-Donating some money to allow them to hire an independent modeler at a friendly rate
-If you’re a 3D artist, you can help with modeling some of the buildings, trees, or other objects
-Spread the word
In return for helping them out, Digital Apex can give you an advance copy of the track (a Beta or even Alpha release) for rFactor 1, credits, and also a big thank you.
The track looks good at the moment, and has potential to be a great addition to the list of tracks available in the community! To learn more about Digital Apex Modding Team’s project, and to check out their progress, you can check out their official post here.

Here is a video of the street circuit as it was in real life, so you can see what the goal is for the circuit. What do you guys think? Would you guys like to see the circuit come to the racing sims?

Hi guys,
It’s Vila do Conde, no Vilo do Conde.
Good luck with this project.
