Yesterday, we got an interesting announcement from race driver Tanner Foust and Graeme Boyd (Xbox EMEA’s Social Marketing Manager). Forza Horizon 2 has gone Gold! For people who don’t exactly know what “Going Gold” means, that means the title has completed development and is starting to enter production of the physical units leading to the game’s release.
In addition to the Gold announcement, Playground Games and Microsoft have released a demo for Forza Horizon 2. The demo as of right now is an exclusive to the Xbox One, with no word as to if the Xbox 360 version will receive a demo. If you’re wanting to give the demo a shot, it will tip the scales at around 10 GB, so make sure you have the room! You can either download the demo through the Xbox Dashboard or the SmartGlass app. Everyone who plays the demo and completes at least one event will also get the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi once they purchase the full version of Forza Horizon 2*.
*Offer ends October 31st

Have you given the Forza Horizon 2 demo a spin? Give us your thoughts in the comments!

’49 mercury coupe, yes please! I have a ’53 F100 in the garage so the ’56 is fun to play pretend in as well!
Demo is impressive, and I’ve actually played through it twice now. Multiplayer experience is really nice with no lobbies and being able to switch back and forth. Driving through a vineyard becomes a challenge because you can’t see where your going as stuff is flying everywhere. I enjoyed the first Horizon and this is like a polished version that’s so pretty to look at. Looking forward to the full game soon!
Demo i most impressive!
