Season 2 of the iRacing Lotus 79 Classic Team Championship is only a couple weeks away, and the league has put together an awesome trailer to highlight the action that the league provides.

The CTC actually isn’t like other leagues, where you are required to run in coordinated races one time a week, it tracks how you run in iRacing’s Classic Lotus Grand Prix. You get assigned a team and paint scheme that corresponds with a classic Formula One team, based on your skill level. All you have to do is make an official race during the week, and your points will be tracked. Be careful though, miss two weeks in a row, and you will lose your seat in your team!

I’d love to try this but I just don’t feel competitive enough with this car. Maybe when it gets the new tire model.
I hope it gets the ntm soon. Raced the car a lot back three years ago. Good group of guys on Saturday and Sunday morning. Not exactly sure why I stopped but it is a tough car. Have to get your mind wrapped around the whole more corner speed = more grip. Spent a lot of time flying off the track working on setups.
