The Guia Circuit in Macau is one of the cooler destination tracks you’ll ever come across, and now thanks to Sector3 Studios, you can drive it for yourself in RaceRoom.

For those unfamiliar with the circuit, think of Macau as a Monaco on steroids. While Monaco is short and slow, Macau is long and fast, but within similar confines of congested city streets. The 6.1 km (3.8 mi) track on the peninsula of Macau, China can see speeds of 260 km/h (161 mph) from F3 cars on its main straight (I bet F1 cars would easily approach 200 mph). That’s awfully fast for a track in the middle of a concrete jungle.
The arrival of Macau to RaceRoom is a bit of a nostalgic homecoming. Back when Sector3 was in it’s SimBin heyday, the Guia Circuit was featured in two of its titles, Race – The Official WTCC Game and Race 07. It’s good to see the old fan favorite back and looking better than ever.
And speaking of looking better than ever, can you believe how detailed this place looks? Check out the lengthy gallery below and appreciate the time that had to go into this track by the Sector3 art team. Has to be one of the most detailed tracks in sim racing today in terms of trackside objects. I mean, they literally built a city. It’s very impressive.
You can pick up Macau here at the RaceRoom site for 499 vRP.

Can’t wait to try. Really enjoyed this track in Race 07 and Race Pro.
