Mad Catz Pro Racing Wheel Hands On @ CES

At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, Mad Catz  featured their new Pro Racing Force Feedback Wheel  for the first time in a public setting.

The Pro Racing FFB Wheel is the second wheel to support the Xbox One, after Thrustmaster released the TX One in November of last year. It includes features such as a suede-like material for the grip, dual-motor helical gear driven force feedback,  It has also been speculated that a 3-pedal set and separate shifter will be announced at a later date. The wheel also can be mounted on a Playseat, desk, or on your lap.

As you can see from this video that IGN posted above, it will feature modular components, similar to Thrustmaster and Fanatec’s offerings.

Also check out this image I grabbed from the video, it shows two sets of paddles. I wonder if one set will be progressive.

We’re hoping to have one to do our own hands on here on the show soon.

The MadCatz Pro Racing Force Feedback Wheel is set to release February 28th, 2014, for a MSRP of $399.99. You can pre-order the wheel at the Mad Catz Website.

  1. That dude driving in the video has absolutely no idea what he is doing lol. To his credit the wheel is duct taped to the table, and the pedals are just sitting on the floor while he presses them in a standing position.
