Codemasters has released the latest edition of their blog, this time taking a look at the variety of downloadable content that will be available in the near future.
To start off, three car packs will be coming to Autosport:
- Best of British
- Coupe Style
- Road and Track
as well as three “mini-expansions”:
- Sprint Pack
- Touring Car Legends Pack
- Drag Racing Pack
Car packs will just add extra cars to the title, while mini-expansions will add content to the game in addition to extra cars. While you can likely assume what the additional packs and expansions will provide, Codies has kept pretty quiet about further details. All of the DLC is set to come out before October.
There will be two options to purchasing the DLC content: you can either purchase packs a la carte (individual pricing has not been revealed yet), or you can purchase the Season Pass for $29.99, which will result in a savings compared to buying separately. The Season Pass will also allow you to expand your online garage, with 5 additional slots.
More patches are also on the way, and they’re not just to fix bugs. A couple features that will be added to GRID Autosport are expanded hardware support, as well as a virtual mirror. Work is also being made to ensure there is more variety in multiplayer playlists. The number of tracks available to each discipline has increased as well, to help keep things fresh.
More news in regards to the patches, car packs, and mini-expansions will be coming in the near future. Are you looking forward to getting more cars and content for GRID Autosport? Let us know in the comments!
