ProtoSimTech PT-1 Pedals Available June 1st

We’ve been following the journey of ProtoSimTech and their PT-1 pedals for quit some time and now the light at the end of the tunnel appears near.

The company has announced that their much anticipated, and affordable, load cells pedals will be available for purchase on June 1st at 12 noon EST (4 pm GMT).  The 2-pedal version can be purchased for $319 while the 3-pedal set goes for $379 (plus shipping, rates location dependent).  Both sound incredibly reasonable for the quality that ProtoSimTech appears to be putting out.

PT-1 Pedal set Features:
● Aluminum and Stainless Steel Construction
● 50KG Load Cell – Brake Pedal
● Industrial Quality Potentiometers (rated for millions of turns) – Throttle and Clutch Pedals
● Multiple Pedal Face Positions
● Adjustable Pedal Height
● Adjustable Spring Tension
● Adjustable Pedal Travel
● Adjustable Potentiometer Travel
● Adjustable Clutch “Feel”
● Can Be Inverted or  Placed Right Side Up (with each pedal separately)
● Many More…

A few things to note if you’re interested in buying them.  First, you must register at the ProtoSimTech website.  Second, the curved pedal face option will be available for purchase at the same time as the pedal (aka, both can be added to the cart and checked out at the same time).  Lastly, only one PT-1 pedal set per person…cause who really needs more than one set?

Now that you I have you salivating in excitement, I should probably bring you back to Earth.  The first batch of pedals is only 20 units.  So when they say June 1st at noon, they mean AT NOON or you’ll be waiting for batch two.  Speaking of which, there’s no current time table for batch two.  From the sound of ProtoSimTech’s Co-Founder Chris Smith’s comments, its not going to be right away (months not weeks).  Patience will be a virtue.

When all you rock stars do get your hands on one of the first 20 pedals – thanks to the ISRTV bump of course – you’ll want to know how to set it up.  ProtoSimTech has taken care of this by releasing three pedal adjustment videos.  Check them out below:

  1. Darin G, what’s your take on these? I think they look tempting. Im running a t500 wheel and pedals, but I need to find USB pedals to go along with the AF wheel due to ship later this summer. These look great. I ordered CSR elites but I’m dissapointed with the feel of the brake. Its notchy under hard braking, not smooth, and I’m not even heavy footed. Might just mod the t500 with a hsb adapter, and load cell brake, but the pedals are v1, so the springs wear out fast, and i want something new…Decisions….:( I just wana see some news videos. Keep moving isrtv forward with more great previews.
