Real Car or Sim Racing part? You make the call….

Today at the shop I had the pleasure of opening a box from Total Spanish Simulator. Inside of that box was a part that  looked like it was straight out of a real race car. It was a complete hydraulic system that will somehow fit into my g27 pedal set. Upon further inspection I can see a shock and spring that is actually the exact size of the stock red unit within the g27 pedals. Then somehow the hose and other cylinder attach to the base. I am very intrigued by the overall design and am very much looking forward to installing it on my rig.

The TSS G27 Brake mod features a fully adjustable pedal in many ways. You can adjust the spring rate, the pressure sensitivity and even the back off force of the pedal. They have tested the pedal on all of the major PC Racing titles and claim its even compatible with the PS3. Strangely enough they also claim it will work on the Xbox, I will have to look into that, maybe with a Fanatec wheel and adapter.

The TSS G27 Brake mod goes for 140 Euro which is about 194 dollars in the US. It also comes in a dual spring heavier duty model for 10 euro more.

Does this look like the ultimate pedal for your G27 or G25?  If you have one please email and let me know.  I’m going to install this beast of a brake pedal and get to reviewing it !  I’ll have a full written review as well as a video recap with my good buddy Darin very soon.

Here’s an image gallery of my new race car, I mean sim racing brake !
