rFactor 2 Closes In On More Realistic Silverstone

Back in June, rFactor 2 released Silverstone Circuit v1.01 to the sim.  The good news was the track was released in time for the Formula 1 British Grand Prix.  The bad news was the track was unoptimized and unfinished due to a lack of track surface data.

Now half-a-year later, the development team is getting closer to releasing the version they always wanted to.  Frame rates have been significantly increased, load times decreased, the International layout has been added and the track surface now mimicks the real life counter part.

The track enters internal testing soon and will be released to the public in the near future.  See all the comments from the ISI Track Team about the new and improved Silverstone at rfactor.net.
