Sim On The Go – Assetto Corsa Working On MS Surface

On a trip and suffering from sim racing hangover? Well, if you have a Microsoft Surface Pro 2, a keyboard, and a controller, you can now play Assetto Corsa on a semi-portable level! Betta Lines has published a video on Youtube showcasing the sim running at 720p on the tablet.

It is a little complicated to get working, requiring hotplugging keyboards and controllers, but it looks to be running fairly smooth and can provide another way to play the sim! You find out more information here.

  1. Mmmm, not the best option but I guess it would be easier playing Real Racing 3.
And talking about sim racing on mobile, what would be the best game for it?
    Greatings from Colombia.

    1. I don’t consider myself a sim racer and I’m not at anywhere near the caliber of most of the people on this site but I really enjoy playing Real Racing 3. The graphics are great, it’s free and has a bunch of different control setups to challenge you. I haven’t found anything near this good for tablet/mobile, I should not I’m apple only tho.

      1. That’s what I think, best on mobile. ISRTV should have a space for mobile racing sim. Matt, may I haver your Game Center contact so we can run at RR3?

        1. Couldn’t agree more, mobile racing may not be ideal compared to your at home setup but it’s hard to pass up when your on the go and there are some great, totally free, titles out there.

I don’t mind racing against you, my Game Center name is twistedind. I haven’t played for awhile but I’ll fire it up again.
