Sim Racing Hardware (SRD) have unveiled their latest product, the G-Force LCD.  The new LCD is said to have been inspired by real-world racing screens – looks like the BMW Z4 GT3 display to me – and features a 4.3″ 480 x 272 FTF LCD display.  The display looks solidly built, made up of black anodized alloy and fully inclosed with stainless steel anodized fixings.

SRD also state that they have designed it to be fitted to wheelbases (or not), such as the AccuForce and CSW.  Hey, we have an AccuForce that could use a display…just sayin’.

And if you order a G-Force LCD in the next two weeks, SRD will throw in whatever bracket mount you want for free.

Here’s some of the key facts and figures:

  • High Quality 4.3″ 480×272 TFT LCD display
  • Fully enclosed all-metal Alloy Case
  • Pre-Assembled
  • Choice of RED or BLUE anodized washers
  • USB Lead Included
  • Free software Included
  • Supports a growing list of simulations inc: AC, iRacing, GSCE, pCars, rFactor and rFactor2, R3E, GTR2, Race07. (more titles will be added along with more screens etc in regular free updates)

The G-Force LCD from Sim Racing Hardware is available now for £199.95.

“The new LCD is said to have been inspired by real-world racing screens – looks like the BMW Z4 GT3 display to me”….. BMW Z4 GT3 display looks like – MoTeC ADL3, but not like G-Force LCD. Thank You

  2. I was thinking the same thing. It’s hard to justify this over a tablet or old phone. I bought a 7″ samsung tablet for $120 that looks awesome mounted to my rig. The tablet+mount+dash apps was somewhere around $185 said and done and it’s a big bright 7″ screen that does other stuff when not simracing.

I think this would look really good mounted directly to a wheel base but as a separate display mounted farther away it needs to be something bigger.

  3. Got a 7′ 1280 x800 tablet for 35 bucks at bestbuy, paired with dashmeter and works like a charm. Looks cool but that price….

    1. true, looks like they are aiming at the high-end market. still a nice piece of simgear that would look great on my simgear!
      : )

OT, what ever happened to siminstruments similar looking dash display? are they still in business? they said about 6 months ago they had a new design or new supplier?
