I love seeing what you guys have designed, with an abundance of creative cockpits featured in our forums. New forum member TommyG has made great use of his first post, showing us his Mark 1 cockpit, which is quite a good looking rig.
TommyG built the rig in anticipation for PS4 simulation titles, and is currently using it for Gran Turismo 6 on the PS3. He constructed the rig out of 25mm thick MDF, and painted it a matte black finish. There are some very clever design features, that warrant a closer look at the photos. For starters, I noticed that he actually set up his 46″ Samsung TV’s mount through an MDF plane, to add stability to it. A soundbar on top of the cockpit gives a great angle for quality sound.
