STiGR Technologies has announced that their STiGR-F1 Display Unit has been launched on Kickstarter. Designed to fit with the Thrustmaster T500RS’ Ferrari F1 rim (but can be used as a standalone unit), this display is a replica of the one used on the real life Ferrari counterpart.

The STiGR-F1 is a wireless display, that can be customized to show real-time data from a wide range of racing titles for PC. The display will feature a class 2 Bluetooth radio for communicating with your computer. A Lipo battery will allow for 3+ hours on a single charge, and can be recharged through Micro USB. The battery is also user-replaceable, so you can order a new one when it wears out.

STiGR is also developing their own software utility, to configure the unit to fit your personal preferences. Different settings can be selected via the buttons on the bottom of the unit. The firmware can also be updated, to add support for future titles.

If you want to learn more about the STiGR-F1, you can check out the official Kickstarter page, as well as the STiGR Tech website. Are you looking forward to this new unit? Let us know in the comments, or check out the official forum thread!

  1. Why is it limited to just the Thrustmaster F-1 wheel? Couldn’t I mount it on any wheel or even a mounting tab? It looks like it would be great for use with any wheel or even just mounted and used with a controller. It looks like a great product.

    1. I did go look at the site and it looks like a great product and I hope they can get enough investors to get the ball rolling. I would like to get one of these in the future.
