Stock Car Extreme V1.52 Released

Reiza Studios have released a relatively small update to Stock Car Extreme – I guess that’s the latest iteration of the name these days – in the form of V1.52.  The update brings features like automatic rotation support for the Fanatec Clubsport V2, replays that show the DRS and proper tire compound in action, onboard starter for the SuperV8 (yay!) and AI improvements all around.

The update does arrive with one important caveat though.  Due to the new replay code, old replays will not be recognized by V1.52.  So if you are sitting on a bunch of replays that you plan to use…hold off on updating until you do so.

The entire V1.52 changelog can be viewed below:

  • Added automatic rotation support for Fanatec Clubsport V2;
  • Added DRS & tire compound state to replays;
  • Fixed F-Retro error in Dedicated tool;
  • Added onboard starter to SuperV8;
  • Fixed fog not working over grass blades;
  • Adjusted SuperV8 collision mesh;
  • AI callibration run-through for all series;
  • Minor physics adjustments for F-Extreme, F-Reiza, F-3 & karts;
  • Fixed Safety Car position at Montreal modern;
  • Made main menu series selection arrows red for better visibility.

    1. This is off the top of my head, but I thought the modern F1 car already has the wing shake? Pretty sure I drove it and watched it in the replay…but that was a few months ago.
