Welcome to another Test Drive Tuesday video.. Seems we keep missing Tuesday though . In this one, I take the Ferrari F12berlinetta for a test drive at old school LeMans, the one without the chicances, or referred to as “Old Mulssane”
This car gets going about 210 mph on that back straight. I only run one lap against the AI, but comment on it and the wheel as I go. Also add some commentary on the T3PA pedal set that will be an add-on for the Thrustmaster TX 458 Italia Racing Wheel for the Xbox One.
Specs:
XBox One
Forza Motorsport 5
Thrustmaster TX Racing 458 Italia with the 458 GTE Challenge Add On Wheel
T3PA pedal set
Playseat Forza Addition
Vizio 42″ crap LCD
Note: I noticed some glitching or frame issues in this recording and it was from the capture, not the game. If you look at the over the shoulder, there’s no glitching. We can blame our old crappy AMD PC and Intesity Shuttle capture card for it .
Hope you enjoy it. If you have any questions about the wheel and pedal set, I’d be happy to answer them here . Shauns got another Test Drive coming up today in Assetto Corsa running the new wheel as well. Stay tuned !

You have to be more detailed regarding the force feedback. Need to know how it compares to GT5 force feedback and iRacing. Does it feel more realistic compare to the older Forza? How does it feel at the limit? Does it react to front wheel lockup, under steer, oversteer?
Yes it reacts to all of those things and you can feel lunges on shifts. I’m loving it with FM5. I will be making a direct comparison to Forza 4 and running it on the PC this weekend to compare it to the T500.
Strictly comparing wheelbase performance, what’s better: T500RS or TX?
From everything I’ve been able to gather thus far, the TX probably
performs relatively similar with perhaps some slight performance
enhancements due to the brushless motor and new belt system. Is that a
fair assumption?
So far it’s hard for me to make a direct comparison since I haven’t tried the wheel on the PC yet. Shaun has with Assetto Corsa and said he loved it. On Forza 5 it feels great ! I’ll be trying it over this long weekend. (Thanksgiving here in the states)
