The Thrustmaster T300RS is one of the hotly awaited peripherals for the Playstation 4, especially with titles such as “The Crew”, “Project CARS”, and “Driveclub” coming out later this year. Thrustmaster has now provided more information about the cross-platform PS3/PS4 wheel (which also works for the PC).
The T300RS will be feature the most extensive iteration of the Thrustmaster Ecosystem in the four years since the system’s implementation. All of the rims from the T500RS and TX can be used on the T300RS. The wheel will be compatible with the T3PA pedal set, as well as the T500RS unit (which can be inverted as well). The Static Paddles from the T500RS can also be mounted on the wheel. The TH8RS and TH8A shifters can be used both on the PS3/PS4 and the PC with the wheel.
I know a lot of members in the community are asking about when they can get this newest wheel, and also the impact it will have on their wallets. Well, Thrustmaster has announced that the T300RS will be available before the end of this month, for the MSRP of $399.99. Retailers around the world have begun to take pre-orders, with the US likely opening up pre-orders soon.
Are you looking forward to the Thrustmaster T300RS when it releases later this month? Let us know in the comments!

I would buy it with $399.99 if it came with a clutch……TM should not go money hungry, they should look through our point of view too…..if they expect me to buy this with $399.99 and then buy the T3PA with $100 more (+ TH8A with $150 more)……then they are thinking the wrong way! Sim racing is an expensive hobby/Passion. If they want the market to expand then they should bring some stuff the way we want!
The price will inevitably come down. I got my TX wheel and pedal set last December, barely a month after it was released, for $325 shipped. I can tell you as a TX owner that the T300RS is a better deal than even the TX because like the TX, you get an exceptional base with great FFB and feel, but unlike the TX, you get a high quality rim with the T300RS. The only part of the T300RS that is marginal is the pedal set, but I can tell you that the TX pedal set, which is basically the same, is adequate and perfectly fine for a starter pedal set until you can move into something better, such as the T3PA set.
It will cost 369€ in Europe, which translates at over 470$, so it’s even more expensive in Europe. It should be priced around the 300€ to make it good value or as Darin mentioned in the review for this price include a full pedal set.
Don’t forget that the 399$ is before taxes…
If you shop arround you should be able to pick it up cheeper. Ordered mine last night from CentralPoint in the Netherlands. for 330 euro.
I am picking one up.
time to sell the good old G25 , Maybe take the Momo out of the basement and list it as well.
Sad to let go of my g25 but it doesnt work with ps4 and thats a killer, Plus i really want the T3PA pedals set.
I’ve been using a T3PA for the past month, and I will say, they are the best budget pedals I’ve used! The conical brake mod really makes a difference, creates progression similar to my CSP I used before.
Note that the gas pedal is admittedly light, but I may have also felt that way because I modded my CSP gas pedal to be about twice as stiff as stock Clubsport Pedals, so it was a bit of a shock for me, but I did get used to it quickly!
Already out in Europe becaue I have bought one 🙂
It is out but in very small quantities, not very easy to find yet. I also pickup a T300 GTE unit for 329€.
