After the wildly successful release of the Dream Pack a couple months ago, Assetto Corsa is following it up with an encore, the Bonus Pack. Unlike the Dream Pack though, the Bonus Pack won’t cost us anything. Free ya’ll!!! Yes, the pack will be free and now Kunos has confirmed the pack’s content.
The Bonus Pack features five cars and one track. The cars are, the Alfa Romeo Mito Quadrifoglio Verde (say that five times fast), Audi Sport Quattro, Lamborghini Miura, Nissan Nismo GT-R and Toyota GT-86. Along with the cars, the Dutch Circuit Zandvoort will also be released, a much needed addition to the somewhat shallow portfolio of tracks in Assetto Corsa.
Overall, a good crop of cars if road cars excite you. While I prefer to drive race cars, these cars do have my interest…well…maybe not the Alfa, but the rest.
I think the Quattro and the GT-86 could be the most interesting cars of the group. In theory, the Quattro should be really fun but it’ll depend on how Kunos has advanced its all-wheel drive physics, which currently aren’t as polished as the rear-wheel drive cars. As for the GT-86, my hope is that it’s along the lines of the BMW M235i Race car, which was the real sweetheart of the Dream Pack. Not a lot of horsepower but a lot of fun to drive at the limits.
Kunos is shooting to release the Bonus Pack in July as part of the V1.2 update of Assetto Corsa.

Core of game still in bata in my mind, Arcadish starts and cant even get the overlay right after a race. no sounds that really puts you at the tarck. its like hotlapping with other ppl. Racing can be good if radom lag don’t upset you and somebody a hundred feet away just starting to wear thin on me when I see all the cars and tracks being added when the core needs work. My day to rant I guess but had high expetations for AC.

best sim racer out there. fact
Not even by a long shot, I’m afraid. Fundamentally flawed and simplified physics, dull force feedback and tremendous AI issues leaves a great deal to be desired.
Hey, he does have a right to his opinion, even if we don’t agree.
Except he didn’t present it as “opinion”. He presented it as a “fact”, which it obviously isn’t.
Well I guess it’s a fact in his head ☺
Ha, I’m sure it is.
Indeed…by far the best ffb u can find in a sim….most real physics(not like others where cars just slide with 20 km)…very nice graphics(sometimes this game looks even better than pcars)so what else do u need? ok better ai its true….and i dont have problem if they call it v1 or v1.5….better call it version and not build ****
Ive got to say its mighty impressive, but good lord that UI is just terrible. Really hope pc version will someday support navigating via the dpad on a wheel or keyboard in menues. Stoked to see how the gtr handles though
They should fix the AI, MP and Graphic issues before they call it V1.0 IMHO !
