Presenting our Saturday test drive. This week Darin heads back to the Green Hell to see if he can join the 6 minute club. Last week Jason did it in the Pagani Zonda in Assetto Corsa. This week Darin takes the McLaren P1 out in rivals mode. Watch to see if he can get in to the 6 minute zone.
You know they said the Fanatec PWTS wouldn’t work with the Xbone, I’m pretty sure they meant wirelessly. Cause I got the PWTS to work USB on my 360, so somehow it must just connect USB, unless the Xbone is all USB3?. Anyhow the thought of buying more Wheel Hardware when the Fanatec PWTS is pretty awesome already. Looking forward to Alienware’s SteamBox in the Fall and what you Sim Pros call proper Sim Racing on PC. I hear the xbox 360 controller will work directly wirelessly on the new Alienware SteamBox. This is good news for Fanatec PWTS owners. Don’t know if the Alienware SteamBox, ‘Alpha’, will support triple monitor but here’s hoping 60fps and Vsynch will be on its proprietary Nvidia Graphics chip ready for Oculus Rift. [By the way Nordshliefe is still awesome on Forza 4 and in triple screen].

Darrin! Great video! Quick tip from a Fan: it would be awesome and easier to sit through your videos if you print out a track map for your voiceover. It’s a bit tedious to hear you saying “through here” or “this right hander” over and over when it would come off as more professional and way more educational for us viewers if you said things like, “flat out through schwalbanschwanz” – even if you butcher the pronunciation, we don’t care. it’s just better than way!
