Game Stock Car Extreme: Classic Content Preview

Why only have one Opala when you can have two?  That’s clearly the question that Reiza Studios asked themselves.  Their answer?  “Why not!”  Reiza have released the first screenshots of the 1986 Opala Stock Car in Game Stock Car Extreme (GSCE).  The circa ’86 version joins the earlier model year Opala that’s already in the title.

Visually, the ’86 model looks more racy, adding a front valence, side skirts, hood Gurney flaps and spoiler.  No mention of how much horsepower the car will have but the current Opala has 220 hp, so at the very least that.

The screenshots also preview another piece of forthcoming content, the Jacarepagua Historic circuit.  GSCE already has the 2012 version of the track (before it was demolished), the long version and the CART track used in the late ’90’s.  Now the historic version joins the fun and gives you another piece of historic blacktop to drive the Opala on.

Both pieces of content are expected to be released in the near future.  Reiza has teased that the next update contains ‘big news’ and “(It’s) riding along with the Opala.”
