ISI Releases Pro Kart Series for rFactor 2

ISI sure has been busy lately! From releasing the Panoz Roadster to announcing stock cars, rFactor 2 has been starting to shape out quite nicely. Now we have another release upon us, as version 0.991 of the Pro Kart Series has been released.

The Karts come in two configurations, the “Junior” and “F1”. The Junior would be similar to a Rotax or TAG kart, while the Kart F1 would likely tread closer to SuperKart territory.

Along with the Karts announcement, ISI has released the Quebec Superkarts circuit, with four configurations to race on. Featuring both high speed corners as well as tight technical hairpins, this track will likely become a favorite for those who enjoy technical circuits.

You can download the karts and the new track from rFactor 2’s official downloads page. In addition to the new content, there are also optional HUD, showroom, and UI updates to go along with the karts:

UI – http://rfactor.net/web/getfile/kart-ui/
SHOWROOM (Not recommended for use without UI) – http://rfactor.net/web/getfile/kart-showroom/

What do you think of the latest content to come to rFactor 2? What is your opinion on Karting in sim racing?

  1. I initially thought this was a foolish waste of time and resources but, after trying it, I find that it’s actually quite a bit of fun and if anyone has children this would be a good way to introduce them to sim racing.
