Presenting a review of the Simulaje Quick release by Juan Zapata for the G25 and G27. We also connect the SimRaceWay SRW-S1 Formula Style rim with the quick release and tell you all about how it performs.
Darin and Jason also discuss how the install went on it as well.
You can check one out for yourself here:

We also forgot to mention, the SRW-S1 setup does NOT work on the PS3.

Such a pain in the ass.. LOL
I am torn between this mod vs jumping into a clubsport base wheel. when you factor in shipping and going back and forth between g27 wheel with steel series wheel. your are little over 300 USD. not including the steel series wheel itself, taking you anywhere from 350-380 depending on shipping. It’s still cheaper than a clubsport base wheel setup… but is it worth it comparing wheel to wheel. and base to base? Not asking about quality of Simulaje product as that at least open the window into upgrading your G27.
how are you
There is a free program called “FanaLEDs” that makes the SRW-S1 LEDs work with any game.
Also SLIMax Manager but it is a $10 USD Donation in their Forums.
I’m really looking into doing this with my G27, as I have already fitted a different wheel and button option, and it would be nice to expand on that.
Careful guys the S1 was NEVER intended for FFB Use. Yes you can open it up and epoxy the hand grips but the S1 will eventually go limp again. I eventually said screw it and went with the CSW and both rims,
My custom way to mount a S1 minus stock crappy shifters that tend to break very easily

Epoxy re enforcement.

ALSO NOTE the SRW-S1 is discontinued, therefor Steelseries will not be providing support anymore. Last i spoke with them dealing with a broken wheel they had Very limited #’s of wheels left for warranty issues. The S1 board has a tendency to “flash” itself and render it useless. Ive personally came across 3 of them.
You guys mentioned that Jason has Track-IR. I know you guys have been pumping out a lot content lately and I am sure you are busy. However, would you be able to create a review of Track-IR within iRacing? No rush at all. I greatly appreciate everything you have been putting out. As always, thank you guys.
