Sector3 Studios has released the DTM 1992 pack for RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E). The pack gets you five cars, the BMW M3 Sport Evolution, Ford Mustang GT DTM, Mercedes 190E Evo II DTM, Opel Omega 3000 Evo500 and Audi V8 DTM, as well as 25 liveries. The pack can be purchased for 999 vRP ($12 USD) at the RaceRoom store. For some reason, it is currently only available through the store and cannot be purchased through Steam like other add-ons such as ADAC GT Masters 2014 and DTM 2014.

The release of this pack puts an exclamation point on a strong 2014 for Sector3 Studios. After some mid-year drama surrounding the re-branding of the studio from SimBin to Sector3, the studio has bounced back nicely and turned a pretty rough around the edges R3E into a respectable contender in the sim world. Here’s to hoping Sector3 continues the momentum into 2015.

I did buy the Ford Mustang. It is a decent facsimile.
Bought this pack. Love it. Might be my new favorite. More power than the WTCC cars with less grip than the DTM 2013/2014 cars. Fun to drive and the cars all look and sound terrific.
It’d be nice if they could release a track or two from the 92 season that isn’t already in the game (like Wunstorf, Avus, Singen, etc.) but for now I’m happy just to throw them around on Zolder, Norisring, Nurburgring and Hockenheim among others.
If anyone is looking for a good set of tracks for this pack I’d recommend the European Track pack.
